Bowling reflects on early-season after facing PRP

Both boys’ and girls’ bowling teams played against Pleasure Ridge Park (PRP) at Executive Strike and Spare bowling alley yesterday. The team’s current focus is to tighten their skills rather than the comparative points as they prepare for tournaments as the season progresses.
“I think right now, we’re just in the process of trying to improve,” Andrew Kelmanson (12, MST) said. “It’s still really early in the season. We have a lot of room for improvement. Like, we can do way better, I think.”
But while bowling scores collective points from individual teammates, the teams do their best to encourage each other from group huddles to doing the duPont Manual cheer after every score.
“The environment is really good. We’re all really supportive of each other, and I mean, we just have a lot of fun out here on the lanes together,” C.J. Johnson (11, HSU) said.
Both teams each played two match games against PRP and a baker game.
