Being Black is not a simple definition. There is no single or correct answer, no box to outline it. However, that doesn't mean the Black community needs to continue to stand divided or attempt to create a box. We must find unity and celebrate who and what we are and what we do share, beyond just a single month or mindset.
The Divine Nine is composed of five fraternities and four sororities, also known as Black Greek Letter Organizations (BGLOs). They were created to help foster beneficial growth within the Black community and as a counter to the racism Black students faced on many college campuses across America.
