OPINION: We can’t let the Supreme Court become a political weapon

With the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg two months before the election, a new justice has been appointed by the president to fill the void. This stands in stark contrast to the way a Supreme Court vacancy was treated in Obama's election year. If we let the Supreme Court become too political, then one of our last nonpartisan bodies will become another tool for political bickering
