Third spaces are environments outside of home and work that are designated for socialization and communication. These spaces play an important role in society, especially for teenagers as they shift into adulthood. With the rise of the internet, a lot of third spaces have shifted online, causing less in person connection outside of school and work.

Today we talk with RedEye staffers about their experiences in the evolving third spaces around Louisville.
