This Week in Manual Academics: Feb. 5 – 10

Roses Fundraiser

The World Wildlife Club will be selling roses everyday next week outside of the senior cafeteria. Roses are $3 or $20 for a dozen. The roses will be distributed on Valentine’s Day.

Growing the Mission Gala Tickets

The third annual “Growing the Mission” Gala will take place on March 10. Tickets are now on sale at a discounted price until Feb. 10. The event will have dinner, an open bar, silent and live auction and guests of honor. Click here to buy tickets.

Class of 2020 Fundraiser

The sophomore class will have a fundraiser at Blaze Pizza in the Paddock Shops on Feb. 8 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

MST Trivia Night

MST will host a trivia night on Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. There will be eight people per team, but groups of less than eight may also attend and pair up with others. Tickets are $15 per person at the door or click here to purchase them in advance.

Theatre Performance

YPAS’ theatre one class will host a workshop performance on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

“42nd Street” is a classic piece of musical theatre tap repertory performed by YPAS in 2013.

Lacrosse Trivia Night

The boys’ lacrosse team will host a trivia night on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 3:30 p.m. at the Jeffersontown Community Center. The cost is $20 in advance by clicking here or $25 at the door.

Clint Vaught Young Actors Institute

YPAS will host an institute for 10-14 year-olds who are interested in acting from June 4-15. Students will learn theatrical program with daily classes in scene study, improvisation, make-up, stage combat and movement. There will be a performance at the end of the institute. The cost is $360.
