The Crimsons beat the Ravens on Thursday evening with a score of 4-0.

The game began with a series of four unsuccessful corner kicks by Manual. However, the Rams quickly gained their footing with a goal by Mia Bajic (#26, 10).

Manual kept up their energy with numerous shots on goal by Janie Mundell (#20, 10) and Elisabeth Kraimer (#5, 12). However, each attempt was saved by Atherton’s goalkeeper, Olivia Baker (#1, 11).

After a few failed goal attempts, Amelia Jones (#17, 11) scored the second goal of the night, assisted by Gianna Zamborini (#14,12).

The first half ended with Manual in the lead 2-0.

The Ravens began the second half with more momentum. Atherton player Emily Paul (#16, 11) took a free kick but it was saved by Manual’s goalie Morgan White (#1, 10).

The game continued with Mundell taking a corner for Crimsons. While that corner was unsuccessful, Manual scored two back-to-back goals quickly thereafter. The first goal of the half was by Kraimer, assisted by Jones. Then a goal by Chloe Groemling (#39, 9) followed.

With ten minutes remaining in the game and Manual up by 4, Atherton made many vigorous goal attempts, but all were saved by White.

Despite the absence of the Crimson Crazies support, the girls’ soccer team sealed the victory.
